Integrated Work is delighted to welcome two new interns to our team! Rayyan Ahmed and Martin Simpson Teplin recently joined us and we couldn’t be more grateful to have two such talented people accompany us on our journey. Here’s a little more about them:

Rayyan Ahmed

About Rayyan:

Rayyan is a rising senior in high school who hopes to pursue a career in social work. He is passionate about gender equality and linguistics and hopes to pursue both courses of study in college. Rayyan has worked with various organizations that advocate for women’s rights and he enjoys learning about different companies and their cultures. In his free time, he watches YouTube and plays basketball and golf.

What are you most passionate about and why?

I am passionate about doing work in gender equality after learning about the disadvantages women face around the world.

What attracted you to Integrated Work?

I appreciated the human-first approach and wanted my first professional experience to be with a company that values the people it works with.

What achievement are you most joyful about?

I am most joyful about being able to work in my school’s writing center and helping my peers with their writing every day.

What are you looking forward to?

I am looking forward to learning how a company runs and seeing how Holacracy works.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy watching sports and playing golf and basketball for fun.

Martin Simpson Teplin

About Martin:

Martin is a rising senior in high school who is looking to gain experience working as part of a cohesive team as he further develops his media and business skills. Martin cares deeply about improving workplace inclusivity and equality. For fun, Martin enjoys watching and playing baseball and also plays video games.

What are you most passionate about and why?

I am passionate about improving workplace equality by working to embrace a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures.

What attracted you to Integrated Work?
I was attracted to the commitment and dedication Integrated Work has in allowing each individual person to shine through their own experience and expertise.

What achievement are you most joyful about?
I am most joyful about my own success and my team’s success in this year’s baseball season while we try to win the state championship.

What are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to gaining insight into the innerworkings of a unique system like that at Integrated Work.

What do you do for fun?

I watch and play baseball as well as play video games for fun.
