Welcome to the Team, Darrie and Nadia!

Oct 25, 2020

Integrated Work is delighted to welcome two new staff members to our team! Darrie Matthew Burrage and Nadia Ali joined us recently, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have more wonderful people accompany us on our journey. Here’s a little more about why we love them:

Nadia Ali

Senior Consultant

Nadia joins us as a Senior Consultant and has a history steeped in health care. She brings deep experience in coalition building, leadership and workforce development, community outreach, health care reform, as well as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) training and consulting.

One of the things she is most passionate about is increasing awareness and dialogue around health and racial equity for marginalized communities. Over the past 10 years, Nadia had the opportunity to become more deeply involved in these efforts in a variety of capacities. During her tenure as a Director at the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers, a nationally-recognized healthcare non-profit, she worked on fostering a more inclusive culture by shifting the organization to a skills-based hiring model, implemented new interviewing practices and pathways for leadership, and created opportunities for professional development that focused on improving team communications and culture. She has continued this work at her most recent position at Clinica Family Health in Lafayette, Colorado and also started her own consulting firm, Idea Labs.

According to Nadia, she was attracted to Integrated Work because our philosophy, values, and programming energize her and align with her strong interest and dedication to improving healthcare, increasing leadership capacity and serving socioeconomically disadvantaged populations.

Nadia is also a polyglot! She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi, has an advanced knowledge of Spanish and a basic knowledge of French! She enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, trying new recipes, and capturing special moments on camera.

What we love about Nadia: Her warmth, her fabulous recipes and her ability to quickly create connection.

Darrie says he is excited about joining Integrated Work for many reasons, one of which is that he loves that it is a woman-owned and woman-led firm.
