The SUCCEED Academy is an executive leadership program for senior healthcare leaders who are invested in building leadership capacity for diverse populations and developing inclusive leadership skills.

This unique program will bring together a cohort of healthcare executives from across the country for a variety of seminars, workshops, and experiences that will enhance skills, inspire, recharge, and prepare leaders to engage inclusively in their work and communities as they grow into greater levels of executive accountabilities. Participants will have the opportunity to network, build lasting relationships and interact with subject matter experts across a wide variety of topics including communication, advocacy, change management, emotional intelligence and inclusive leadership. In addition, participants will explore concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion and will learn ways to lead inclusively and gain perspectives and skills to help them lead during dynamic times.

Whether you are already familiar with concepts around inclusive leadership, or it is a new skill set you are developing, this program can help you build the capacity, courage, and confidence needed to increase your ability to effectively lead in your organization. This program will launch you into a leadership journey that will engage, inspire and bring about true transformation. Participants will develop critical skills to help them effectively lead into the future. Each journey point highlights the theme of the session and will provide the opportunity to dive deeper into these areas through reflection, practice, and dialogue.

Meet the Team

Jennifer Simpson, PhD

Jennifer is the CEO of Integrated Work. She has dedicated her life and career to improving lives, strengthening communities, and adding value to organizations by helping people amplify their impact by being more human, together. Her varied background includes more than twenty-five years of experience working in and with organizations across the private, public, corporate, and not-for-profit sectors to create more meaningful and effective ways of living and working together across differences; more than a decade of teaching university courses in communication, organizational diversity, and leadership disciplines; and a lifetime of bridging worlds in a way that capitalizes on the best in organizations to enhance creativity and stimulate whole system learning.

Nadia Ali, MPA

Nadia’s depth of experience spans program management, coalition building, leadership and workforce development, community outreach, health care reform and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) training, and consulting. She is passionate about health and racial equity and her work has primarily centered around increasing access to care in underserved populations, creating leadership opportunities for underrepresented minorities, and increasing awareness and dialogue around health and racial equity.  Additionally, Nadia has worked on programs focused on complex care, health information technology, health disparities research, and outreach in immigrant communities.

Moira Perez, PhD

Moira is an Executive Consultant at IntegratedWork. She brings to her role over 20 years of experience working with non-profit organizations to define culture, create community, and enable innovation. Her work includes strategic planning, change management, implementation design, leadership development, communications, and executive coaching.

FAQ

Who can apply? 

This program is open to all senior healthcare leaders in Senior Director/Vice President roles and above who aspire to C-level leadership.  The experience is especially well-suited to leaders working in community health care settings or associations and/or who focus deeply on social determinants of health and health equity in their roles.

What is the format?  

We will blend engaging, interactive virtual sessions with in-person experiences, and both small group peer mentoring and 1:1 executive coaching.  Virtual sessions will typically be 90-minutes and include both presentation and discussion or collaborative activities.  In-person sessions will be 2.5-3 days in beautiful Boulder, Colorado in the Integrated Work offices.

How much is the program?  

$7,500 per person plus travel and lodging. 3 lunches, daily snacks, and one group dinner are included in this price.
