When the pandemic hit, we were all faced with a different reality than what we were used to. As a result, we have had to redefine “normal” especially around how we connect with family, friends, and co-workers. Video calls and conferences have become our go-to, not just for meetings, but also for social events. For many of us, Zoom has become our platform of choice for interaction. As we become more comfortable using Zoom as a tool for connection with others, we have also become more and more creative with how we use it.

Using various Zoom backgrounds is more common these days as a fun way to imagine that you are on your dream vacation, like using a photo of Bora-bora as your backdrop, or as a way to underscore your leadership role by sitting in the captain’s chair of the Starship Enterprise. Social events are no different, as we employ images as backgrounds to match the theme of our Zoom parties.

Here at Integrated Work, we’ve hosted many virtual client events where we encourage the use of Zoom backgrounds to spice up social hours and connection sessions. To that end, we have curated a list of Zoom backgrounds that we provide to meeting participants to spark creativity and engagement during our gatherings, and thought we would share them with you, too.
