What are you most passionate about and why?

I am most passionate about self-love. As humans, we have a biological drive for connection and belonging. Ego gets in the way of that. Once we accept that we are inherently worthy just for existing, we automatically treat others with respect and empathy. I dream of a world where we all understand how our brains work, love ourselves unconditionally, and see the beauty of each other’s souls so that we can function more cohesively as a society.

What attracted you to Integrated Work?

In a society driven by profit and greed, I know it is best for my soul to align with people who care about making the world a better place. I need to work with people who know they are interacting with whole, complex, unpredictable, perfectly flawed, and beautiful humans. Integrated Work espoused human-first ideals from my very first interaction with them, which helped me to know this was the right place for me.

What makes you most joyful?

Brene Brown is quoted as saying, “Gratitude is the prerequisite for joy.” Even when things aren’t going the way I planned, I find joy by being grateful. Grateful for my cat’s soft fur and tiny snores, the sunshine that literally pours out of my niece’s face, the vibrations I feel when I put my hands on a tree, the smell of the salty ocean air, the intense awakening when I become fully present, the feeling of calm after a truly deep breath. I could cry thinking about these simple pleasures that bring me so much joy.

What are you looking forward to?

I am looking forward to building meaningful connections with people who care about creating a just world for all.

What do you do for fun?

My favorite thing to do is hike, whether it’s an easy, flat trail or an intense rock scramble. Being in nature makes me feel alive. Traveling is my most fulfilling (and expensive) hobby. I also love to do yoga, read, meditate, watch movies, dance, and spend time with family and friends.
